2022 Native Plant Giveaway

***Congrats to everyone who received the native plant donations from our 2022 giveaway! We were thrilled to receive so many emails from dedicated teachers and community members. It is awesome and encouraging to see such a rise in the popularity of native plants. ***

If you missed the giveaway, you can check out below for next year.....

We are setting aside plants to donate to 3 nearby schools or organizations.

If you are interested in starting a native pollinator garden and would like to be considered for the giveaway please message us below or send us an email at lyndnatives@gmail.com . Please tell us the following information:

  • Educational Purpose
  • Why it matters to You
  • What is your habitat like (dry/wet etc.)
  • Where you are located

Please send us your inquiry by June 19th and we will choose 3 recipients that following week.

What is included in the Giveaway?

Each of the 3 recipients will receive 96 native plants that come in 2.5 inch pots. We will put together a mix of species that are suited to their habitat so that they are sure to succeed and thrive. The plants may include species such as Wild Bergamot, Royal Catchfly, Swamp Milkweed, and various important goldenrods and asters.

What we are looking for

We are looking for individuals and organizations who are sustainably driven and passionate towards the preservation of our native plant species and habitats. We are looking for individuals and organizations who are willing to put in the extra time and work to create an atmosphere and example that encourages others to explore our native habitats.

Not only do we believe in the importance of educating the public but we also believe in the importance of teaching the next generation to care for and protect our unique native species and habitats. That is why we are especially interested in providing schools with plants and resources that will get them started on their own pollinator garden.

If you are selected for the giveaway

If you are selected or maybe just interested in creating your own pollinator garden with native species, you need to be sure to properly prepare your site before planting.
